ArianZ opinii krytyków: "The Dark Side of the Moon" to trudna płyta, gorzkie ponure utwory zachęcające do ucieczki przed pustotą egzystencji, jej "jałowością". Jakim cudem coś tak dekadenckiego stało się "hitem" wiedział chyba tylko Roger Waters, twórca tekstów do "The Dark Side...". Płyta ta była pierwszym koncept-albumem autorstwa Pink Floyd i w pewnym sensie przetarła drogę, którą podążyły kolejne ich albumy.
